Top 10 Hotels
The following are my Top 10 Hotels of all time:
1. The Hotel (Las Vegas, Nevada)
Every room is a suite, flat screen TVs in every room (including the bathroom), and unbelievable service. And just a few steps outside your door is the infamous Strip.
2. Bluelake Ranch Bed and Breakfast (Durango, Colorado)
Most relaxing hotel i've ever been to. Your own private lake, fresh made granola and berries for breakfast every morning (the owner wouldn't give us the recipe!), and a cabin suite like nothing I have ever seen before.
3. The Atlantis (Paradise Island, Bahamas)
One of the Top 10 resorts in the world. However many billions he spent on the hotel, Saul Kirsner must have spent equally as much on the aquariums and lagoons that surround every inch of the hotel. Truly paradise.
4. Ka'anapali Beach Hotel (Maui, Hawaii)
Where Kerri and I got engaged. She almost found the ring twice before I could spring it on her. A local hotel with true Hawaiianservice.
5. The Oak House Bed and Breakfast (Martha's Vineyard, Massachusettes)
Pumpkin pecan pancakes, playing Monopoly, and listening to the rain fall outside. Total relaxation.
6. Sandals (Ocho Rios, Jamaica)
Where Kerri and I took our honeymoon. Unquestionably the most romantic of all of the destinations on the list. A private, secluded resort full of jungle paths and private pools.
7. The Majestic Hotel (San Francisco, California)
An old Victorian hotel that has maintained all of the charm of the original. A night here also requires a stop at the Grand Cafe for dinner and catching the latest Broadway show playing in the city.
8. Los Suenos (Jaco, Costa Rica)
An amazing golf destination on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. A fantastic set of interconnected pools that span the entire resort. And the biggest suite I've ever stayed in.
9. Hotel Zaza (Dallas, Texas)
A very modern hotel in the genre of W Hotels. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. An amazing spa. And a 5-star restaurant (Dragonfly) that turns into a club at night.
10. B Hotel (Barcelona, Spain)
The most modern hotel I've ever seen in Europe. All the amenities that you could ask for including bathroom windows that darken when you enter. And a balcony overlooking this vibrant Spanish city.
Note: In order to qualify, I had to have stayed at the hotel.
